Greenhouse Plans for 2010
The greenhouse will be open from May through September.
We currently have lots of seeds sprouting under lights in the basement that will be offered in the greenhouse this year.
Lots and lots of herbs. Some are plants and cuttings that are currently being grown in the basement under lights.
Others are just now being started from seed (January 2010).
Most of our tomatoes are heirlooms.
A few are hybrids, but had something unusal about them that made them irresistable.
For each variey, I have indicated whether they are heirlooms or hybrids.
I remember reading
Watership Down years ago. In that book, the rabbits divide all birds into 'hawks' and 'not hawks'.
For me, the vegetables are divided into 'tomatoes' and 'not tomatoes'.
These are the 'not tomatoes'.
Lots of herbs are also flowers, so plants may be listed in more than one category.
